“The room was neat and clean. The location was the best thing because it was near everything. The staff were not the friendliest and acted like you were bothering them. There was a young lady who was kind of rude and condescending. I was able to relax but probably won’t go there again because they lack manners and good customer service.”

“Absolutely worse experience. The employees took a vendetta because we asked for a smoking room after we already reserved one. I believe he gave us the worst room in the place. Everything was dirty the sheets the recliner the floor. Everything was absolutely disgusting. When asked for a new room. He said no we're available and then said that their laundry room was broken so we have absolutely no idea what our sheets for glass they had multiple stains. It was horrendous.”

“Stupendous and will go back again. The rooms are very spacious with a great view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant next door was fantastic with large portions and fantastic food. We did not have time to walk around the town, but drove through and it is extremely charming.”

“This hotel is scam , because they would take your money when you don’t safe at the hotel . So you at for a refund . The manger will not call you back to her about your situation. I asked to be moved and they couldn’t because they only had one room left and that was the room they gave me . I asked to be moved because my room had to much traffic in front of my room . The manger ask the people or either told the people to stand somewhere else . One of the people that were staying there didn’t like...

“The place was dirty! No soap in shower no extra anything! Never again”

“Great stay! The hotel was very clean, the room was nice and comfortable, and the location was perfect with plenty of shopping and retail stores nearby. Most importantly was super close to Fort Eustis Army base. The pool was lovely, and the gym looked clean and well equipped. We’d definitely stay here again!”

“Very dirty bad smell throught hotel.Mold in places bed was clean which was a plus but not worth 200 for 2 nights at all.Please hire people who know how to deep clean!!”

“Overall a good experience. Reasonable price and good location right next to I64. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Two things to improve: AC quite noisy and the fact though the hotel was quite empty the all 10 or so rooms occupied were all adiacent and so could hear everything coming from the other rooms. ”

“Had the best stay at Decoy's!!!! Cottage #1 exceeded our expectations - THE VIEW!!! the adorable decor, the most comfortable bedding... I could not recommend this place more. The area is super safe and kid-friendly. The cottages do not have front desk staff available in person, but everyone we spoke to over the phone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We made the most beautiful memories here in the cottages with our family - 5 stars all around. Thank you, Decoy's!”
